When you make an online donation to MTA, we never see or store your card number. We never give, sell, trade or share your personal information or financial data with any other person or organization, except as follows:

MTA works with certain vendors who help facilitate and process donations. We only utilize the services in our online donation system of vendors that provide and maintain secure systems that fully protect your data.

The following are the vendors who are involved in our online donation system, with links to their privacy policies:

• Authorize.net: This vendor authorizes, captures and processes our online donations made in the form of credit and debit card transactions and electronic check (“eCheck”) transactions prior to March 9, 2020. Authorize.net’s privacy policy can be found at http://www.authorize.net/company/privacy/
• Stripe.com: This vendor authorizes, captures and processes our online donations made in the form of credit and debit card transactions and electronic check (“eCheck”) transactions after March 9, 2020. Authorize.net’s privacy policy can be found at https://stripe.com/privacy

• Shopify: Although we do not use this vendor for donations, they do handle all e-commerce functions for all purchases of promotional materials made on our online store. Shopify’s privacy policy is at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy

Some of our donate pages offer you the option to post that you donated on social media sites like facebook.com. You are given the opportunity to choose whether or not to make these postings, and responsibility for such social media postings is yours.
