‘Move to Amend’ starts campaign

August 10, 2016

Prescott’s Move To Amend chapter has recently kicked off its campaign to confront political hopefuls with a demand to fight corruption of government, by sending letters to all 185 primary candidates for state office this past Monday.
The Pledge to Amend campaign, organized by the national Move to Amend Coalition, mobilizes citizen activists to engage and hold accountable political candidates through a public commitment to democracy in America.

Locally, voters can expect Prescott Area Move to Amend volunteers to be at candidate forums and debates asking candidates to support their efforts as election season heats up.
