4th of July Parade & Tabling

July 4th, Move to Amend, petition, corporate personhood
July 4, 2012

Move to Amend Anchorage marched in the 4th of July parade with 25 participants, at least 10 of them teens supporting our cause.  We had costumes:  4 Supreme Court Judges, Lady Liberty, and Uncle Sam.  Others were sporting red, white & blue costumes and/or the American flag.  Our table after the parade was busy for 6 hours, answering questions, collecting signatures on the petition, and handing out literature.  There was significant interest and a surprising amount of knowledge.  Our message is getting out!  The state representative who sponsored a failed stated resolution stopped by to encourage us.
