The Movement to Amend the US Constitution
Corporations are not People; Money is not Speech
April 28 - NW MN / Eastern ND Move to Amend Meeting - April 28
One of the most obvious failures in our country is the breakdown of democracy. Even voting can’t be counted on any longer. It is imperative that “We the People” is defined in the US Constitution as human beings only. The First Amendment Right of free speech, in the form of money, given to corporations and other legal entities drowns out the expressed concerns of real people. There is a lot more to be said about the state of affairs but you understand the precariousness of our democracy and the need to put your energy into changing it.
