COLUMBUS, Ohio--Ex-Congressman Dennis Kucinich is set to speak Saturday in Columbus at a conference of activists looking to limit corporations' legal and political power.

Kucinich is scheduled to deliver the 1 p.m. keynote address, titled "Ending Corporate Personhood And Money As Speech," at the Move to Amend Ohio Network's fifth annual gathering in Columbus' Clintonville neighborhood. Move To Amend is a grassroots effort to pass a constitutional amendment stating that corporations should no longer have the same legal rights as people and that political donations are not a form of constitutionally protected free speech.

Kucinich has been talked about by Democratic Party insiders as a possible candidate for governor in 2018. The former mayor of Cleveland, ex-congressman, and two-time candidate for president has so far remained coy about his plans, at least in public.
