Our first National Leadership Summit in 2016 was such a huge success, we've decided to open it up to everyone.
Here's what some attendees had to say:
"I'm pretty pleased with myself because I'm kinda new at this, and I wasn't sure if I had the ability to be effective. I learned there's a whole network of people out there ready and willing to support me and commiserate with me. The best part was just being together with so many people who share my point of view and my principles. I've found a home at Move to Amend."
Whether you're a novice or a master organizer, our plenaries, panels, and workshops will further empower you in your own community and in our national campaign to legalize democracy and pass the We the People Amendment.
We just sent out dozens of invitations to speakers and panelists and are awaiting responses from them. We trust we'll assemble some of the finest radical thinkers and organizers in the country to headline our plenaries, panels, and workshops. We'll release details as they become available.
We're very happy to be on the Trinity Washington Campus in the heart of Washington DC, this time. We've got more space and it's centrally located, providing more of a nightlife and easier access to Capital Hill. Just as we did last time, we'll descend on Capital Hill as citizen lobbyists for the We the People Amendment (optional) on Monday June 11.
We really do want everybody to attend. You can choose to register at 4 different levels, from co-sponsor level (to assist others in particpating) to scholarship level (for those truly strapped for cash). Our goal is to break even on this event.
The earlybird discount will expire on February 28. Our bank account is low after paying the deposit for the venue and we need to quickly recoup some funds. Because most registrations are priced at cost or below, this discount is an enticement for you to act now—it can't last long!
And, if you need another reason to attend, only really cool people will be there! I'll be there with our National staff and board members; we hope you'll be there, too.
P.S. If you can find no way to attend the summit, please consider making a contribution to ensure its success and the ability for others to attend.
