This one hour, one woman play is about the first woman elected to Congress from the state of Montana in 1916. Presented in celebration of Women’s History month, as Ms. Rankin played a pivotal, often overlooked role in American History. A progressive Republican, she fought for women’s suffrage, economic justice and environmental protection.
This event is presented by the Lakes Area Move to Amend, the local chapter of a non-partisan national organization dedicated to preserving democracy.
