Grandmothers for Peace - Twin Cities

More than 30 years ago a group of women concerned about war and nuclear proliferation launched Grandmothers for Peace in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. We (not all of us grandparents) meet each month to share our own wisdom, experience and passion for peace and justice AND to seek actions by which we can make positive change for future generations. PLEASE JOIN US!

RESOLVED, Grandmothers for Peace - Twin Cities stands with the Move To Amend campaign and communities across the country to defend democracy from the corrupting effects of undue corporate power by amending the United States Constitution to establish that 1) Only human beings, not corporations and other legal entities, are persons endowed with constitutional rights, and 2) Money is not speech, and therefore regulating political contributions and spending is not equivalent to limiting political speech.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Grandmothers for Peace - Twin Cities, hereby instructs our state and federal representatives to enact resolutions and legislation to advance this effort.
