Ypsilanti, Ingham County, Lansing and Ann Arbor pass MoveToAmend resolutions

On Aug. 21, 2012, Ypsilanti became the first city in Michigan to officially denounce Citizens United and call for a constitutional amendment to abolish "corporate personhood". 

The vote by the Lansing City Council on 9/24/12 was unanimous;  the vote by the Ingham County Board of Commissioners on 9/24/12 was 12-2 in favor;  the vote by the Ann Arbor City Council on 10/15/12  was 7-3 in favor.  These resolutions can be read below.  (See the Grand Rapids story above to read the Ypsilanti City Council resolution.)
