Many of us are concerned about a status quo that perpetuates injustice and de-legitimizes sustainability, freedom, and human rights. Corporate control is casting a dark shadow across the human condition in the early years of the 21st Century. Putting an end to the concepts of corporate personhood and money as speech will not put an end to the injustice, oppression, and violence; but is an essential part of the solution!
Come join our effort to collect signatures for a Toledo ballot issue to allow voters to support a constitutional amendment establishing that corporations do not have the rights of natural persons and money is not speech and can be regulated in political campaigns.
We have 5,000 signatures, which is nearly half-way to our goal of collecting enough valid signatures to file petitions with the Board of Elections.
With your help we can raise public awareness of corporate rule over our democracy and regain control for "we the people!"
Thursday, January 8 at 6:30 PM @ Downtown Library (325 N. Michigan) in the Loolen Meeting Room.
