This MayDay S.O.S. is No Exaggeration

As we told you this morning, Move to Amend is facing a serious financial shortfall. Things are pretty grave around here, as we aren't sure what the future holds.

But we do know that many of you have already responded and we have already raised $13,334 of the $150,000 we need to raise in the next 30 days.

And we have heard from many of you that you're not willing to contemplate a world without Move to Amend. That warms my heart and gives me hope that we are going to make it through this bump in the road -- thank you!

We’ve always taken Mark Twain’s words to heart: “Reality can be beaten with enough imagination.”

We are masters at stretching a budget to full tolerance -- mostly out of necessity. Collectively we’ve proven we have the imagination to succeed, but we can’t conjure cash out of our imagination no matter how hard we try. But right now, working together, we can get this great organization over this funding shortfall.

Please donate now to ensure that the movement to pass the 28th Amendment to end corporate constitutional rights and get big money out of politics keeps going strong.

We need you more than ever.

The unending chaos generated by the election of Donald Trump has affected our fundraising as folks focus on the short term rather than the systemic fix we know is necessary to fix what ails our dying democracy... but don't lose sight of the longterm vision -- please donate to Move to Amend now.

There’s no reason that Move to Amend shouldn’t succeed. After all the hard work and the long string of successes we achieved together, is a lack funds going to be what stops us from reaching our goal of building a democracy movement and passing the We the People Amendment?

No way!

We have raised $150,000 in a month before. But only when everyone leans in. Please dig deep right now.

We can do this!
