August 4, 2018

Metro Denver Move to Amend's larger-than-life sized street characters appeared at the Denver opening of "DARK MONEY", the political thriller which examines one of the greatest present threats to American democracy: the influence of untraceable corporate money on our elections and elected officials.

The "Supremes" and volunteers engaged with attendees and gathered MTA petition signatures.

MDMTA and Colorado Chair Steve Justino introduced the film to the audience - and he and members engaged in the post-film Q & A with the hosts and Sarah Arnold who was featured in the film.

The Sundance Film Festival award-winnung documentary takes viewers to Montana—a frontline in the fight to preserve fair elections nationwide—to follow an intrepid local journalist working to expose the real-life impacts of the US Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision. Through this gripping story, DARK MONEY uncovers the shocking and vital truth of how American elections are bought and sold.
