Move to Amend Needs Your Support

Every little bit counts.
May 17, 2012

We may not be able to compete with Big Corporate Money, but if we all chip in a little bit to Move to Amend every month, we can make a big difference!

Friends,

From coast to coast, the Move to Amend coalition is providing tools and resources to help Americans grow the movement to amend the Constitution.

The organizations in our coalition were hard at work educating and organizing against Corporate Personhood years before the Citizens United ruling, and now we've turned our years of groundwork into a national movement to amend the Constitution.

On our website we have outreach materials, take action webinars, and organizing toolkits to name just a few. And, we provide these resources for free, although they take time and money to create.

Please become a Move To Amend Sustainer today with a monthly pledge of $30 to help support the important grassroots organizing for the Constitutional amendment.

We sponsor barnstorming tours and regional convergences to introduce and bring together grassroots activists and organizers. These are effective gatherings, which sharpen our collective skills and amplify our work and message, but venues and travel are costly.

Our message is resonating with voters regardless of party affiliation. Our resolutions are passing and ballot initiatives are underway in both conservative and liberal districts, because we are building wide grassroots support. This support is very welcome, although it requires we beef up our capacity to serve the rapid growth. We need more staff, more materials, more expenditure on travel and events!

Move To Amend is providing the tools and resources necessary for the grassroots Democracy Movement to grow. Will you give Move To Amend the funds we need to support this work? If $30 is too steep, we’ll gratefully accept $15 a month, or whatever you can afford. Click here to support Move to Amend and the grassroots movement we're building.

Thank you!
