Move to Amend brings you voices from the movement to amend the Constitution through our internet radio program. Every Thursday at 5pm Pacific/8pm Eastern. This is a call-in program. Call (646) 652-2345 and press 1 to participate.
This week features WAmend campaign director Gabe Meyer and secretary Cindy Black to talk about Washington State Initiative-735 calling for a constitutional amendment ending corporate personhood and money as speech.
Gabe Meyer comes to WAmend with a long history of campaign and non-profit experience. In politics, he has done field work in a congressional race, organized signature gatherers for a citywide measure, and lead messaging and fundraising for a mayoral campaign. A fundraiser by trade, Gabe has helped raise money for groups like the Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS), Art with Heart, the World Affairs Council, and the Municipal League of King County, where he was also co-chair of the board. Gabe takes pride in being a positive relational leader and is excited to make sure the I-735 campaign reaches its goals.
