Move to Amend – Jackson County

Date Established:

June 2012

The local Move to Amend affiliate for Ashland and Jackson County, Oregon.

Move to Amend, Jackson County is the Move to Amend affiliate for Jackson County, Oregon. We are located in the south west of Oregon abutting the California border.

Move to Amend, Jackson County is the umbrella organization for the cities within the county. We have active groups in Ashland, Talent and Jacksonville. We are working to establish a group in Medford and we work closely with the city of Grants Pass which is just over the border in Josephine County.

We are particularly please that Ashland, working with the City Council, has approved a question on last November's ballot by 80% approval. We also work with the State MTA and we expect that a memorial will be presented to the Oregon Legislature for passage in the Spring.

We are always looking for others to join our effort. You can best contact us by e-mailing to JCMovetoAmend [at]

"It's a crisis for small business as we start to come out of the recession," says Mark Kellenbeck, of Medford, co-chairman of Main Street Alliance and co-owner of BrainJoy, a "brainwave optimization" company.
