Sign Our Petition to the Sacramento City Council to Pass Our Resolution

BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Sacramento, CA calls for amending the constitutions of the United States and the State of California to establish that

1.    Only human beings, not corporations, are endowed with rights that are protected by the constitution, and

2.    Money is not speech and, therefore, the expenditure of money to influence the electoral process is not a form of constitutionally protected speech and may be regulated.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of Sacramento hereby calls on our state and federal legislatures to enact resolutions and legislation to advance this effort.
