MTA Fundraising goal was met! + Planning for the future...

The national Move to Amend goal of raising $150,000 in May was met!
The executive director and the board now are gathering input from affiliates and from people who attended the June Leadership Summit about how to stabilize the income that supports the national staff who help us reach our Strategic Plan goals.

In particular, they need “sustaining donors” at whatever level you can afford.  Even $5 to $10 per month will help to stabilize the Move to Amend’s income.

One time donations are still needed and help with projects and the Leadership Summit, but stabilizing the basic budget will be crucial to our future.

Washington DC Leadership Summit and US Congress Lobby Day~ June 7-10:  Linda and Diane attended

Linda Gillison (Missoula) and Diane Magone (Superior) went to the Move to Amend Leadership conference and lobbied the US Congressional delegation.
Thom Hartman was featured.
The Summit is held during the years of national elections (every other year) in Washington DC.
We hope to have more Montanans attend in 2020:  Scholarships are available.  All Move to Amend supporters are welcome to attend.

But now Goldman Sachs is openly saying in financial reports that curing people of terrible diseases is not good for business.
