Can shopping save the world? Story of Stuff's (SOS) great new video The Story of Change urges viewers to put down their credit cards and start exercising their citizen muscles to build a more sustainable, just and fulfilling world.

As part of their project, Story of Stuff is also holding a competition -- The Changemaker Challenge -- they're asking folks to share Action Ideas to change the world for the better.

The top Action Ideas will be highlighted on the Story of Stuff Project website, receive help from the Project, and might even be featured in The Good Stuff, their podcast series, or one of their future movies.

Amend the Constitution to Abolish Corporate Personhood and Money as Free Speech!

Formed in September 2009, Move to Amend is a coalition of hundreds of organizations and tens of thousands of individuals committed to social and economic justice, ending corporate rule, and building a vibrant democracy that is genuinely accountable to the people, not corporate interests.

We are calling for an amendment to the US Constitution to unequivocally state that inalienable rights belong to human beings only, and that money is not a form of protected free speech under the First Amendment and can be regulated in political campaigns.
