2013 National OCCUPY Gathering

At the Occupy National Gathering August 25, 2013, the people at the GA at Bronson Park voted to pass this Proposal of Solidarity: We, the people at the Occupy National Gathering 2013, are in solidarity with the group Move to Amend and we will join the Move to Amend coalition of groups in solidarity with the effort to amend the Constitution, to firmly establish that money is not speech, and human beings, not corporations, are persons entitled to constitutional rights...

Additionally, we are in solidarity with other groups and their efforts on the federal, state or local levels of government, to firmly establish that money is not speech, and human beings, not corporations, are persons entitled to constitutional rights. We are in solidarity with these groups and their efforts, as we see these efforts as steps toward ending the corporat-ocracy by limiting the power and legal rights of corporations and affirming the power and legal rights of the human people of the United States of America."

Occupy WNC will work to persuade the 2014 Occupy National Gathering to amend this endorsement.             The means toward the stated end [above] must must include a 28th Amendment.
