Petaluma Grange #851 is located in Petaluma, CA and was founded in 2012.
It's mission is to foster a sustainable community by advocating for local farmers and the creation of equitable, resilient local agricultural and food systems. We will embrace the area’s diverse cultural heritage, promote reinvestment in our local economy, welcome the wisdom of our elders and support each other in our efforts to be responsible stewards of the land for the benefit of future generations.
We are a group of local farmers and friends sharing resources in and around Petaluma. In 2012, we endorsed a petition to label GMO foods as such. We share food we've grown and raised, tools and on occasion, a work horse!
Meetings take place 4th Mondays at the Petaluma Seed Bank, at E. Washington and Petaluma Blvd. and prospective members may come as a guest of a member. There are both Facebook and web pages to connect to the Petaluma Grange under that name.
