Announcing the second Move to Amend National Leadership Summit!
Join grassroots organizers from all over the country to converge on Washington, DC! Come for the practical trainings and skills building, and stay for the networking and community building!
This year's Summit will be held at Trinity Washington University where participants can affordably stay and eat on campus! The weekend will culminate with a National Lobby Day where we storm the halls of Congress to lobby our representatives to co-sponsor the We The People Amendment!
The conference will begin at 12pm on Friday, June 8 and end with a Lobby Day on Monday, June 11 that will finish by 3pm. Stay tuned for additional program details to come soon!
Affordable and Sliding Scale So Everyone Can Attend!
This gathering belongs to all of us in Move to Amend.
The National Team will be fundraising to help pay for the expense, but participants are encouraged to fundraise too, to help pay your travel and registration costs and make sure that more than one person from your group can attend. We can help you do this by providing coaching, materials, etc. Let us know if you need help!
This event will cost $85,000! Please pay as much as you can afford.
(only 40 available)
Registration includes all conference sessions, three nights lodging (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) in single or double room at the conference venue, and all meals (Friday dinner through Monday lunch). Travel not included. Vegetarian and other dietary needs/preferences can be accommodated.
If the subsidized registration is unaffordable, please apply for a scholarship. We will do our best to meet your needs, but scholarship funds are limited. When you register you will be asked what amount you can afford to contribute toward your participation (minimum $100) and we will send the application form in a follow up email.
It is best to fly into DCA-Washington Reagan National Airport, as it is about a 20 min drive from Trinity campus (during non-rush hours). Dulles Airport in Virginia, and Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) airport are both about 60-70 minutes from campus.
